Key Responsibilities:
- Hands on operational and strategic role
- Lead and manage the branch operations, including the planning, coordination, and execution of freight forwarding services
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency, increase profitability, and ensure exceptional service delivery
- Manage and mentor a small team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international regulations, customs requirements, and industry standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
- Monitor and manage the branch’s budget, financial performance, and profitability
- Oversee the preparation of quotations, contract negotiations, and pricing strategies to maximize revenue opportunities
- Resolve customer complaints or operational issues in a timely and professional manner
- Track industry trends and competitors, ensuring the branch remains competitive in the market
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Experience using CargoWise
- In-depth knowledge of international logistics, customs regulations, and freight forwarding processes
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in freight forwarding software and tools
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
