Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and reports
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist with tax filings and other regulatory compliance
- Prepare reports as needed for senior management
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
- Previous experience working in freight forwarding/logistics an advantage, but not essential
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
- Good communication skills
