Are you an experienced Freight Coordinator with a passion for logistics? Our client is looking for an International Freight Coordinator to join a dynamic team, specialising in providing stage-to-stage or door-to-door freight services for tours, events, and projects. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of a fast-paced industry, ensuring the smooth movement of equipment around the world.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Managing both air and sea freight logistics for live events
Ensure smooth international shipping operations
Be the go-to point of contact for clients and colleagues
Handle customer communication, coordinating with contractors and airlines
Tracking shipments
Invoicing
Occasionally providing on-site logistics support
The role also involves some physical tasks and occasional driving

Role Requirements:

Experience: At least 2 years in air/sea freight imports and exports
Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in freight forwarding software, data entry and Microsoft Office
Communication: Frequent client, staff, and subcontractor interaction, requiring professional and courteous communication
Systems and Operations: Ability to enter data into workflows, allocate tasks, monitor shipments, and maintain accurate records
Flexibility: Occasional after-hours work, driving, and on-site duties
Physical Demands: Lifting and handling freight, loading/unloading trucks/containers
Personal Attributes: Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a focus on customer service
Forklift License an advantage
