To be a successful applicant you must possess the following:
- International Freight Forwarding experience is essential - either in a sales; or someone with operations/customer service looking for an opportunity in sales
- Solid understanding of International Freight / Logistics processes with ability to provide and present solutions to potential customers
- Ability to source new business and build long-term relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, as well CargoWise or similar operating system
- Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current client base and potential new customers
- Achieve maximum sales profitability and growth through effective promotion of the logistics services to existing and potential customers
- Source and complete customer quotations
- Follow up sales leads and free hand traffic generated by overseas agents
- Maintain the sales pipeline with calls and prospects
- Network with sales team globally to develop strong relationships on unilateral clients
- Conduct follow up call/emails to customers/agent on quotes and sales leads
- Attend conferences and meeting both locally and overseas for networking opportunities
