International Freight Coordinator with ref. 3831849

Our client is a company that specialises in providing stage to stage or door to door freight service for tours, events, and projects. They are looking for an International Freight Coordinator to join their team and be responsible for their air and sea freight.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Coordinate the collection and movement of equipment for international freight movements
Liaise with clients and suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient logistics
Keep clients and suppliers updated on progress and any changes to schedules
Respond to emails and calls in a timely manner
Update job requests into operations system
Loading and unloading as required
Some after hours work may be required

Role Requirements:

Must have at least 2 years Air and Sea Freight experience - import and export
Freight forwarding software experience
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Forklift licence
Data entry skills
Good knowledge of Australian metro areas
Outstanding customer service and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Positive attitude and reliable
