Your Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Oversee the end-to-end processing of Import Sea shipments, including job registration, pre-alerts, and documentation.
- Manage critical tasks like chasing and verifying paperwork, monitoring cargo status, and ensuring seamless customs clearance.
- Coordinate local and interstate road/rail movements, liaising with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders.
- Take charge of sea cargo reporting, paying charges, organizing EDOs, and finalizing invoices for clients and overseas agents.
- Experience: Proven track record in freight forwarding operations with a focus on import seafreight.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with CargoWise and MS Word and Excel.
- People Skills: Excellent communication and customer service abilities to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
